1. Ventilation:
Laboratory often because the experiment time is long, the personnel is many and the experiment process produces some harmful gas, causes the air to be polluted, is adverse to the human body.In order to prevent laboratory workers from inhaling or swallowing some toxic, pathogenic or unknown toxic chemicals and organic gases, the laboratory shall be well ventilated and air-conditioned when necessary.Ventilation equipment: fume hood, hood or local ventilation device.In addition to what the building owner mentioned, it is necessary to pay attention to the organic solvent pre-treatment and the use of electric furnace pre-treatment fume hood should be arranged in different laboratories, local exhaust device and exhaust hood must have enough power, otherwise it is difficult to meet the use requirements in the actual work.

 

2. Humidity and temperature:
The laboratory requires appropriate temperature and humidity.Indoor microclimate, including temperature, humidity and air velocity, has an impact on the personnel and equipment working in the laboratory.The appropriate temperature in summer should be 18-28℃, and in winter 16-20℃, and the humidity should be between 30%(winter) and 70%(summer).Except outside the special laboratory, temperature and humidity have little influence on most physical and chemical experiments, but balance room and precision instrument room should control temperature and humidity according to needs.

 

3. Cleanliness:
It is very important to keep the laboratory clean at all times.Outdoor air dust, through ventilation process will enter the laboratory, the experiment contains too much dust, the air is not clean, not only affect the test results, but also, its particles fell on the surface of the instrument components, may constitute obstacles, or even cause short circuit or other potential hazards.Clean laboratory is to spend money, it is not recommended that special needs do not clean laboratory design, if there is a need to large precision instrument room, special laboratory design, generally reach the ten thousand level of purification requirements.If there are more than one clean laboratory, the air supply and exhaust system should be designed and used independently.

4. Facility requirements
Water supply, drainage and sewage:
All laboratories should have water supply and drainage devices, preferably with PVC pipe and welding gun.Chemical test bench should be installed with water pipes, faucets, gutters, emergency rinsers, eye washers, etc., general laboratory wastewater without treatment can be discharged into the city water network channel, and the laboratory harmful wastewater must be purified and treated before it can be discharged into the water network channel.Modern laboratory should form a complete set of construction of sewage treatment station, general laboratory wastewater without treatment can be discharged into the sewage treatment station for processing, to a high concentration of acid and alkali waste water should be first and then discharged into the sewage treatment station, to this kind of wastewater discharge recommended acid reduced pipes, direct emissions from the lab to the depot, the extensive use of organic solvent laboratory should install organic solvent resistant pipes, cast iron pipe connected to the sewage treatment station can be used, for example, that is to say, the laboratory should according to different functions, using different material pipes, design do not cross each other, respectively, were released into the sewage treatment station.The harmful waste water in the laboratory must be purified and treated before it can be discharged into the drainage network.
